Fragrant Hills Park 香山公园
Introducing the Fragrant Hills Park in Beijing
Close to the Summer Palace, it was another residence of the emperors of China and remains much less visited than other points of interest in Beijing, thus offering a welcome escape, far from the crowds. Multiple temples of various origins (Tibetan, Yuan dynasty …) dot the park, while the heights offer a view of the surrounding countryside. It is also here that the remains of Sun Yat-Sen were stored before their transfer to Nanjing.
