Although the erection at great expense of this gigantic bronze statue in the early 1990s has come to disrupt the calm of the plateau Ngong Ping and its beautiful monastery, the majesty of this place remains obvious. The panoramic view from the top is beautiful.The climb from Tung Chung can be done by bus, cable car … or on foot! Notice to the brave !!!
