Dongguan Grand Mosque
It is the main meeting place for the Muslim Hui community of Xining, it is located in the heart of a lively district where it is not uncommon to see signs in Chinese and Arabic. A perfumed market is held on Friday in the adjoining alleyways, an excellent opportunity to discover the cuisine Hui.Its construction began in 1380 and the architecture of the mosque is a fusion of Chinese and Central Asian influences with its green domes. The central square is occupied by groups of faithful meeting to exchange news and share their religious experiences.
