Huanglong

The valley of the “yellow dragon” stretches for about 4 kilometers. The yellow limestone formations have covered the bed of the river forming by places multiple basins where the water laden with Calcium, takes a turquoise blue color.Ancient forests, aquatic plants, waterfalls and trees growing in the middle of limestone formations contribute to the strange harmony of the site. Glacial valleys littered with huge dark rocks demonstrate the past presence of glaciers.
