Kangding

Gateway to Kham between western Sichuan and Chengdu, Kangding is a major village surrounded by mountains in a valley or sweeping the Zheduo River. It is also the starting point for excursions to Tagong, Danba , Gonggashan, Hailuogou Glacier and Mugecuo Lake.The city itself has several points of interest that can be easily discovered in half a day.Notably the famous Paoma Shan offering a beautiful view of the valley, the Nanmo temple and the hot springs.
