The Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong valleys both have the “World Natural Heritage” label. Located north of Sichuan, it can be reached in a day’s bus or an hour and a half by plane from Chengdu.These well-preserved sites offer visitors a chance to immerse themselves in truly magical landscapes that change according to the climate and the season. Rainwater, lakes and undergrounds meet here the rock and the multiple species populating the forest by mixing. The waters of the lakes take on bright colors due to the calcium they contain. Dead strains form floating fertile islands.
