To travel differently also means supporting local communities and protecting the environment. Since 2010, we have undertaken a solidarity commitment. For each traveller, we donate 1 € to each of two local associations in China:
- Couleurs de Chine sponsors the schooling of young girls in northern Guangxi;
- Enfants du Mékong enables education for children in Upper Yunnan.

Since our beginnings in 2006, every traveller we welcome leads to the planting of a tree, in partnership with the “Plantons pour la Planète” programme run by the Yves Rocher Foundation—Institut de France. Since 2006, thanks to all Asian Roads travellers, more than 20,000 trees have been planted, helping balance and preserve the planet.
