Datong Hotel is a hotel built in 1972 but renovated in the 2000s. It is very well located in the city center of Datong as it is just a few steps away from the railway station and the Red Flag Square. The lobby of Datong Hotel is resplendent and reminiscent of China in the 1960s. The rooms are very comfortable and all are equipped with satellite TV. A poker room, a swimming pool, a sauna and a gym are also available for guests. The restaurant menu of Datong Hotel offers Asian and Western dishes for both breakfast and other meals of the day.
