Statues of Buddhas, monasteries, landscapes!
Here is a short circuit of 5 days in the Chinese province of Gansu. It may be extended by a second circuit such as that of the Silk Road. A trek in the desert of Badain Jaran is also possible.
Daily program: Tibetan Gansu & Qinghai Spheres (5 days)
Day 1: Arrived in Lanzhou
Flight to Lanzhou. Welcome and transfer to the hotel Grand Soluxe. Rest of the day free.
Day 2: Lanzhou - Xiahe (B)
Meet with your guide. Road to Binglingsi. Boat trip to the Thousand Buddha Caves-Sanctuaries, through an amazing cliff corridor overlooking the Yellow River and creating impressive landscapes of peaks and ravines. Boat crossing on the other side of the river. Visit the Binglingsi Caves, a magnificent collection of statues carved into porous rock cliffs shaped by the waters. Overnight at hotel Baoma 3 *.
Day 3: Xiahe - Tongren (B)
Visit the huge Labrang lamasery, built in 1709. It houses 1,200 monks of the sect of Bonnets Jaunes. Discovery of the Golden Temple, the Institute of Tibetan Medicine, libraries, temples and innumerable treasures of Buddhist art. City tour and panorama from the hill overlooking the monastery Labrang. Road to Tongren. Visit the monasteries of Longwu and Wutun, famous for the artistic talents of his monks who produce the most beautiful statues and Tibetan Tangka.

Day 4: Tongren - Xining (B)
Visit the monastery of Tongren (Kumbum or Taer Si), one of the 6 main lamaseries of the Buddhist sect of the Yellow Beanies famous for its extraordinary yak butter sculptures. Private vehicle route to Xining through beautiful landscapes. Visits according to the time of arrival. Dinner at the night market.
Overnight at the hotel Enraton International 4 *
Day 5: Departure from Xining (B)
Transfer to Xining Station to continue your tour on the Chinese Silk Road (to Jiayuguan or Dunhuang), otherwise to Xining Airport. End of our services.
