Daily program: Self Driving Tour in China – From Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan via Xinjiang (5 days)

Day 1: Kyrgyzstan - Erkech Tan - Kashgar (210km - 3h30)

Departure from Kyrgyzstan.
In the afternoon, you will reach the Erkech Tan Gate between China and Kyrgyzstan. You will be welcomed by your guide. The, you will travel 110km through an almost desert region before arriving on the mythical Torugart pass (Tourgat) at an altitude of 3,752 m. The pass is located on the border of Naryn province in Kyrgyzstan and the Xinjiang Autonomous Region in China.
The guide will assist you in taking the necessary formalities for your entry into China.
You will continue on to Kashgar.

Overnight in Kashgar at the Barony 4* hotel.

Day 2: Kashgar

Day in Kashgar where we will take care of the administrative formalities (temporary driving license, license plate…) and vehicle checks.

Day 4: Kashgar - Karakul Lake - Taxkorgan (292Km - about 6h30)

This morning, you will take your vehicle to go to Tashikurgan.
On the way, you will visit Lake Karakuli, located at the foot of Mount Mustagh-Ata, as well as the ruins of the stone city in Taxkongan.

Night in Taxkorgan.

Day 5: Tashkurgan - Khunjerab

This morning, departure for Khunjerab located between China and Pakistan.
Once the administrative formalities are completed, you will be able to enter Pakistan.
