Presentation of Wulong Park
Wulong National Geological Park, located in Chongqing Municipality, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its spectacular karst landscapes. This park offers an impressive combination of limestone formations, deep gorges, natural bridges, and caves. The “Three Natural Bridges” (Tiansheng Sanqiao) are a major attraction, featuring massive limestone bridges surrounded by steep cliffs and lush vegetation. The park also includes Furong Cave and the giant sinkholes of Houping (Qingkou Tiankeng Scenic Area). The park is divided into three main areas: the Three Natural Bridges, the Tiankeng (sinkholes), and Wulong Cave.
Visitors can explore Longshui Gorge, one of the oldest fissures in the earth, with impressive waterfalls and canyon scenery. The Tianfu Office, a former postal station, is also a landmark, rebuilt in 2005. The park offers opportunities for hiking and nature exploration.
