Presentation of Datong Dai Wangfu Palace
This gigantic palace dating from the Ming Dynasty was burned down at the end of the latter, and has been under constant reconstruction ever since. Among the vestiges of the period still standing, the 45m long and 2m thick Nine Dragon Wall remains the most striking due to its composition and decorations, and is thus one of the most beautiful Spirit Walls in China, intended to protect the palace’s inhabitants from evil spirits.
