Furong

The village of Furong, perched in an arc around a beautiful waterfall, is the origin of a novel whose film version was made on site and gave it its new name: The city of Hibiscus.At night, the waterfall and the illuminated houses that hang in the greenery, draw an unforgettable fairy tale.

Practical information:

Furong is now easily accessible by high-speed train on the line connecting Guilin and Zhangjiajie, with the station located just 10 minutes away by car. This makes it possible to combine Zhangjiajie, Furong, and Fenghuang by rail, spending one night in each location. The train journey between Furong and Zhangjiajie takes only 20 minutes, much faster than by road (over 2 hours).
