The visit to the parks allows immersion in the daily life of the Chinese people, especially early in the morning and on holidays. Culture Park, “Wenhua Gongyuan”

Entering from the traditional Qintai lu street, you will find Sichuan Opera House, on the right, and Feng Lin Yuan, the cozy tea house. Walk along the avenue north of People’s Park.

People’s Park, “Renmin Gongyuan”

The most popular park in the city as its name indicates. It is also the most central.It houses the monument to the martyrs of the revolt related to the construction of Chengdu Chongqing railway line.There is even a strange room of horrors (10 Yuan), built in an anti-bomb shelter.Ticket Price: 2 yuan / personOpening Hours: From 6:30 to 20:00 (6:30am to 8pm)Access: taxi for 8 yuan from downtown Chengdu. On foot, 300 meters west of Tianfu Square (heart of the city).

Nanjiao Park

The main park of the Tibetan quarter south of the city, it is adjacent to the Wuhou Temple and the traditional Jinli Street. It houses a beautiful exhibition of bonsai and curious stones.
