Gabriel and his family – Karst landscapes of Guangxi and North Yunnan – August 2024

Hello Serge,

Following our trip through your agency, we would like to provide feedback.

Overall we are very satisfied. The hotel services exceeded our expectations and the drivers and guides were all very punctual, helpful and attentive.

We have always felt safe and well taken care of by your services.

However, I would like to draw your attention to one point. For most French people, and especially myself, having been to China 17 years ago, the image we have no longer corresponds to reality.

China is undergoing rapid development and has changed considerably.

When we think of Yunnan, we think of finding an ancient, preserved China, of taking a leap back in time.

And that, as you know, is no longer the case.

I think it is up to you to draw our attention to this reality.

Lijiang has become an open-air shopping center, crowded natural sites teeming with people, fortunately Shibaoshan remains calm and corresponded to our expectations, as well as Shaxi but this resulted in a certain disappointment during our stay in Yunnan and also a great weariness.

I think you should point out to future tourists, especially French ones, how busy Yunnan is during the Chinese holidays. (We expected to have a lot of people in Beijing, Shanghai, and even Guilin). Despite everything, Yunnan remains magnificent. And this trip will remain memorable.

I would not hesitate to use your agencies’ services again in the future.

I wish you all the best in China.

Gabriel
