Essential China Tour: Beijing – Pingyao – Xi’an – Guilin – Ping’an – Yangshuo – Shanghai

We returned home last Sunday very happy with our trip. Thank you for the organisation.
We enjoyed the varied overall programme, which gave us a fairly comprehensive first glimpse of the country.
the overall logistical organisation was perfect.
A few comments that should not detract from our very favourable overall impression:
- the guides were all perfect. The only problem was on the last day in Shanghai, when we had a replacement (Evelyne, who was nice, but not a guide and therefore less relevant, which was a shame).
- the hotels were all good, most of them very well situated, with perhaps one reservation about the Lu Son Yuan hotel in Beijing, which was well situated and charming, but not very clean and with a very basic breakfast. Nothing to say about the other hotels, all very well chosen.
- The programme could have been a little denser in Xi’an and Guilin/Yangshuo.
