I wanted to write to you as soon as I got back to Moscow, but jet lag and the avalanche of micro-tasks at the office put a damper on my enthusiasm…
First of all, a big thank you for offering us a diverse, authentic, and always fascinating China on a platter. The professional and simply human quality of “your” guides was, at every stage, a source of renewed enthusiasm. Bri, Daphnée, Peng, Chen… so many encounters as intense as they were endearing!
So we are seriously considering a second trip, this time focusing on Tibet and/or Xinjiang.
