Just a quick note to let you know that we really enjoyed our trip to Yunnan + Xian + Beijing last month.
The tour met our expectations very well and even exceeded them with some impressive passages along the Tiger Leaping Gorge!
The various guides (Delphine in Kunming, Alain in Yunnan, Du Peng in Xian) were interesting and friendly, the drivers were good quality, and the cars were comfortable enough.
A small note concerning the hotels in Shangri-la and Beijing, in these 2 hotels one of our 2 rooms was not pleasant because it was very dark or without a window.
We plan to continue exploring other regions and cities in China in the coming months, particularly next April, for a week with a group of 7 or 8 French friends, again departing from Macao or Hong Kong.
What new destinations would you recommend?
