Review of the Ethnic Minorities and Landscapes of North Guangxi and South Guizhou Tour (3 days)
Route: Guangzhou – Congjiang – Zhaoxing – Chengyang – Guangzhou

Our trip went very well. Eva is resourceful and shared her knowledge of Zhaoxing and the few villages we visited, including local restaurants (the driver also contributed to this). The hotel was perfectly adequate, even with an excellent Wi-Fi connection. However, the reception was not English-speaking (as the Michelin guide announced) and the stairs to the hotel were rather difficult with very uneven steps. In short, we were very happy with our excursion. I noticed that my colleagues at Sun Yat-Sen University in Guangzhou seemed unaware of the existence of Zhaoxing and the Dongs….
If my 2018 schedule allows, we will do it again, perhaps in Kunming and Lijian or other minorities, but I will not know until next September.
