Day 1: Arrival in Beijing

Arrival at Beijing Airport, welcome by your driver and transfer by private vehicle to your hotel. Lunch not included and meeting with your guide and your driver. First discovery of the Chinese capital. Visit the Temple of Heaven nestled in the huge Tiantan Park, whose majestic three-roofed rotunda is one of the most beautiful achievements of Ming architecture. The end of the day can continue in the shopping streets. Meal at your charge. Overnight at Shichahai Shadow Art Performance.

Option: Gourmet Peking duck dinner in a renowned restaurant, Tangyuan, located in Beijing’s lively Nanluoguxiang Street, full of bars and restaurants

Day 2: Great Wall - Ming's Tomb (B)

Meet your guide and driver then head to the Great Wall of China (Mutianyu), built during the Ming Dynasty. Stop en route to visit a cloisonné enamel factory. Possibility of lunch at the foot of the wall. In the afternoon, visit one of 13 Ming Tombs where the Ming emperors, who reigned over China between 1368 and 1644, were buried. They were overthrown during the invasion of the north by the Manchus, originally from the Qing Dynasty, perpetuated until the revolution of 1911. Walk on “the path of the spirits”, lined with 36 fantastic statues. Return to Beijing via the Olympic Stadium to see the bird’s nest and water cube designed by Herzoge and John Pauline (if you want to visit the interior of the site, the entrance ticket will be at your expense on site). Day 3: Visit Beijing (B)

Meet your guide and your driver. Walk to Tiananmen Square, the “Gate of Heavenly Peace” and visit the Forbidden City, which once housed Chinese emperors and the center of political power. Exit the Forbidden City, walk on the coal hill (108m high), from where you can admire a 360-degree view of Beijing. After lunch, visit a freshwater pearl factory and walk through a typical Hutong neighborhood, around drum towers and bells crossing a popular market. Then visit the summer palace outside Beijing, as well as its big Kunming Lake. You can take a boat trip on the pond in the immense park of Empress Cixi. Meals not included. Day 4: Beijing-Chengdu (B)

Transfer to Beijing Airport and flight to Chengdu in the morning. Welcome and transfer to your hotel. Discovered by yourself from the Wenshu Temple built under the Tang (618-907) and renovated by a Zen master in 1697, is the seat of the Buddhist Association of Chengdu. The area around the temple was renovated “at the time”. The lively evening atmosphere with its art shops, tea rooms, lounges and local cuisine restaurants; deserve to give a ballad, or more. Day 5: Chengdu - Dujiangyuan (B)

Meet your guide and your driver. Discovery in the morning of the former district of Kuanzhai, which was a garrison of the Qing army in the 19th century. Then departure for Dujiangyan City and visit in the afternoon of the old Dujiangyan irrigation system, built more than 2,500 years ago by Libin, then head of Shu Kingdom, still in service today. irrigate the plain of Chengdu. Day 6: Dujiangyan (B, L)

Meet your English-speaking guide and driver, then visit the Dujiangyan Panda Center. Adults and children over the age of 12 can participate in their care and food, and you can ask questions to their caregivers. Children under the age of 12 will be able to observe, but at a distance and under the supervision of a parent. Simple lunch at the volunteer center, have dinner at your leisure. Day 7: Dujiangyan - Leshan - Emeishan (B)

Free morning then walk in the old village of Jiezi. Then drive to Leshan, famous for its sitting Buddha statue at a height of 71 meters. He is responsible for appeasing the tumultuous waves of the three rivers that cross in front of him. Pirogue in the 7th century on the cliff, a system of water evacuation inside its structure has been specially studied which allowed its good conservation in the time. Day 8: Emeishan (B)

Meet your guide and your driver. Continuation of the road to Mount Emei. Culminating at 3099 meters above sea level, “The Golden Summit” is one of the four sacred mountains of Chinese Buddhism. Depending on the weather conditions, you will see the aura of light around the Buddha statue as well as the Minjiang, Qingyi and Dadu rivers flowing like three silk stoles, the Daxue and Gongga mountains extending to the horizon. Day 9: Emeishan - Chengdu (B)

Meet your guide and your driver. In the morning, visit some sites located at the foot of the mountain such as the temple of Fuhu said the “tiger tamed”. Return to Chengdu and visit the Bronze Goat Temple, the largest temple located in the southwest region of China. Night at Zen Buddha 3 *.

Jour 10: Chengdu - Shanghai (PDJ)

Meet with your driver and transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Shanghai. Arrival in Shanghai, welcome to your hotel. End of the day free. Possibility to go around the city in the evening and discover the illuminations of the shopping streets. Day 11: Shanghai (B)

Meet your guide and your driver. In the morning, visit Fuxing Park and Jade Buddha Temple where Chinese people practice Tai Qi and dance. Later, stroll through the historic center of Shanghai and the bustling alleyways where Huxingting Tea House and Yu Mandarin Garden have been preserved. Discover the shopping streets and new ultra modern Pudong neighborhoods located across the Huangpu River. Visit the highest tower in China, the financial tower. Overnight at Narada Boutique Hotel.

Day 12: Shanghai - Tongli - Suzhou (PDJ)

Meet your guide and your driver. Road to the charming little lake village of Tongli (1h), a labyrinth of canals and alleys called “the Venice of the East” and which has retained its traditional charm of ancient city. The old bridges, the clear water and the local houses give it a picture of calm and pleasant place. Gondola ride (included). Continue to Suzhou City, 1 hour drive. Renowned for its beautiful Chinese gardens, the visit will begin with the Wangshi Garden (Master of Nets), considered one of the most beautiful classical gardens of Suzhou. Overnight at Garden Hotel – Liuyan Lu.

Day 13: Suzhou - Shanghai - return flight (B)

Meet your guide and your driver. visit the garden of politics in Shiquan Jie then return to Shanghai. Depending on the schedule of your return flight, possibility to make the last purchases. Transfer to Shanghai Airport to catch your return flight.
