Program: Kunming – Stone Forest – Jianshui – Yuanyang – Dali – Xizhou – Tiger Leaping Gorge – Shangri La – Lijiang
Having returned from Yunnan about a week ago, I have excellent memories of this trip from every point of view:
- The selection of charming hotels, selected for their quality and refinement, often located in the old town, allowed us to glimpse the beautiful residences of ancient China. A particular memory was the Twelve Manor, whose room overlooked the rice terraces.
- The quality restaurants and cuisine.
- The well-paced tours, sometimes a bit hectic, but normal given the distances involved.
- Our guide, “Lala,” was friendly and efficient in resolving any minor issues.
- Our group was equally friendly: a small group of 12 people contributes to the atmosphere. This is much more difficult with a larger group. Therefore, it’s essential for a trip.
Bottom line: This trip is excellent value for money. Kudos to the Kunming team who put this tour together.
Too bad you only organize tours in China!!!!
