Our third trip with Asian Roads was, like the previous ones (Yunnan and the Silk Road), a complete success. Chinese cuisine is a wonderful excuse to visit ultra-touristy sites and go into a family’s home to shop with them and prepare the meal we shared afterwards. We weren’t alone on the rivers in Guilin, but what a joy it was to cycle through the fields and walk through the rice terraces.
The very attentive guides answered our incessant questions. What else can we say, except that the hotels we chose are little jewels far from the world and the noise… And of course, admire the Chinese dynamism…
