Presentation of Yuchanglou
Yuchanglou, a fortress house located in Xiaban Village, was built in 1308. Yuchanglou is one of the oldest existing Tulou. This five-storey earthen construction is divided into 5 compartments where the 5 founding clans resided separately. It is famous for its sloping pillars, probably a manufacturing defect, and yet Tulou Yuchanglou has been standing for over 600 years!
