Presentation of Central in Hong Kong
The Central District in Hong Kong is home to many amazing skyscrapers (Bank of China Tower, HSBC building), as well as shopping malls and shopping arcades adorned with marble. Here are the main shopping centers with designer boutiques and major brands: The Landmark, The Galleria, Prince’s Building, Alexandra House and the IFC mall.In Central, two small parallel streets (called “lanes”), Li Yuen Street East and Li Yuen Street West, are just a succession of stalls where everything is found: cheap clothes, watches, souvenirs, costumes , jewelry, luggage and shoes.Stanley Street is renowned for its photographic equipment at reasonable prices. Hollywood Road, above Central’s business district, is known for its antique shops and art galleries. Further west, towards Sheung Wan, the sidewalks of Central’s “stepped” streets are home to small fruit and vegetable markets. Lang Kwai Fung finally, is the district of the bars, and Soho, the one of the restaurants!
