Presentation of the city of Xitang
Located at one hour’s drive north-east of Wuzhen, Xitang is a small water town with a large and interesting tourist area crossed by several canals. Some dwellings date from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The tourist activity is developing only in recent years, so it is really nice to walk there, especially since the site is really extensive.
Succession of shops, restaurants, small snacks, Xitang is a small labyrinth that has a hundred bridges and many channels.
The entrance ticket allows to visit different houses, monuments or crafts workshops, but only one visit per person.
